  I do not usually write reviews unless i am very angry or very happy with a particular service. However, I was accepted for legal aid with HWMK with respect to a restraining order, at first i thought I would lose the case as some don't really care about their clients as they want them to agree to anything as they are funded by legal aid. However, with Bao he was absolutely amazing and definitely proved me wrong.
  The man does not like to lose and always had different alternatives to control and resolve the situation. My court case went for 2 years and yesterday it took him 3 hours to resolve and write a deed which took other solicitors and firms two years to complete. I definitely got more than what I bargained for and i will be definitely using this firm if I have any issues in the future.

  Late 2018 we engaged "Hugh Watson Marks Kennedy Lawyers" when purchasing our home and used their conveyancer Kerime Danaci. The overall service that we received was terrible. Kerime Danaci was extremely unprofessional and constantly had to be prompted to move the sale along. We purchased our home in Nov. 2018 and had settlement on the 15 Jan. 2019 which meant that we needed to rely on Kerime Danaci to work through her Christmas break to make sure everything ran smoothly which she said that she was happy to do and has done many times before. Well....the whole process was so stressful as Kerime Danaci provided me with no contact details for her and the office phone was completely banked up and never cleared, as of course the office was closed. After days of trying to find her personal number, we were finally able to contact her and had to literally blast her in order to have no interruptions on settlement day. Till the very end we had to keep prompting her to get figures and information to prepare for settlement. After settlement she still did not provide the council with all the documents to have ownership changed and lied constantly. After calling her four times, she finally put in the documents. We also had an issue after settlement with the vendor, as camera's were included in the sale but on settlement there was no receiver left at the property. Kerime Danaci washed her hands from this issue as by this time she was paid. She did not help us fight this issue and once again it proved how weak and unprofessional she really is. Issues may arise when purchasing a property and you need a firm to have that knowledge and power behind you and this firm certainly does not provide that. I would strongly urge anyone looking for a conveyancer to avoid this firm as you will not get the service and help you need when making such an important purchase.

  I was represented by this firm along way back in 2003, thanks to them I was able to stand with my loving husband in the Australian Federal Family Court and settle the sale of a property, I was doing my certificate two in tourism of the Victorian Surf coast region. We live together separately these days and I have just completed my certificate four in legal services. We have eight grand children and I enjoy the pension money I receive from the Australian Federal Government. This firm is fantabulous. Keep on keeping on HWMK.

  As a work experience student i recieve a unique perspective as to how this firm runs. I can say that you, as a client, will recieve nothing but the best from these down-to-earth professional soliciters. They work day in, day out tirelessly to give your case the best possible representation in court and are empathetic whilst doing so. Wheteher you need a soliciter for a will or a barriester for a criminal offence HWMK is the way to go. You could go to another firm that'll treat you like a number, or you could go to HWMK were this doesnt occur, and I'll tell you now, you may be able to find a cheaper lawyer but theres no way you'll find a better one.
